You have to send us between 200 (minimum) and 1,000 (maximum) photos. An original and moving gift! How does creation take place?
After sending your photos and your order, our graphic designer first works on each image (consistent framing and orientation) for a harmonious rendering. After assembling the raw mosaic configured using software, she makes color adjustments and blurs photos that stand out a little too much. Once completed, you will receive a preview by email within 2 working days.
How are the small photos placed?
The software selects the small photos according to their dominant color and their composition, so that they are assembled as harmoniously as possible. Of course, a raw file emerges that our graphic designer will subsequently rework.
How large are the images?
On average, each sticker measures at least 1.6cm in width, and can go up to 2cm, 2.5cm or more if you take a format larger than 100x70cm. The closer the subject is on the main photo, the more it is also possible to enlarge them.
Do we see the small photos that make up the mosaic?
That’s the appeal of a photo mosaic! From a distance you can appreciate the main image as a whole, and up close all the small photos that make it up. Note: vignettes of 2 or 3 faces and landscapes without too much detail will be seen clearly with the naked eye, unlike group photos where the faces will be very small.
